Olieve & Olie have produced a beautifully packaged solid body oil bar is a mess-free alternative to body oil. The amazing combination of aromas will mesmerise and the natural ingredients will nourish and sooth you skin. It is an all over body oil, ideal for those problem areas like knees and elbows. This bar is inclusive of all beautiful essential oils and organic ingredients, wonderful to use in a massage too. Once in contact with your body this bar will start the rejuvenation process to your skin, simply the bar will melt and you can enjoy a vitalising massage or use as a moisturising bar.

Firstly, it must be said, that we are absolutely head over heels in love with Australian extra virgin olive oil. So, it only makes sense that it is the 'hero' in every one of our natural skincare products. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E which provide anti-aging benefits and help restore skin smoothness. Olive oil won't clog your pores as it penetrates deeply into the skin while providing a cleansing effect. Olive oil is also one of the most sustainable oils, due to the fact the trees require little water, do not need to be sprayed with chemicals, and the olives can be harvested year after year without destroying the trees.

Where we can, we source our ingredients directly from the producers. This ensures that we know exactly how our ingredients are grown, that they are chemical free and grown and harvested naturally, ethically and sustainably. These principals are really important to us, and we love to support our local farmers and producers.

Every single ingredient we use is natural and contains no chemicals. The majority of our ingredients are self-explanatory. The following ingredients are commonly queried, so here are explanations of what they are and why we use them:

• Borax (sodium borate): Borax is a naturally mined salt and used in skincare as a preservative and to bind the water and oils together. Here is a great article on it.
• Parfum: We use parfum as a natural preservative in our product. We believe it is the most natural, safe, effective and gentle preservative available. It is derived from vanilla and almond and approved for use in organic skincare by Australian Certified Organic (ACO).
