Grandpa is knitted from 100% Merino Lambswool.

The idea for Grandpa came from a scarf we collected that was woven by a WW2 digger as part of his recuperation. Recuperative weaving therapy must have been common as these scarves began to appear in ‘Op Shops’ - Thrift stores, in the late 1970’s.

Otto & Spike adapted the pattern from the weave to a knit for this homey comforting friend.
