White Sage Smudge Sticks are used to eliminate the atmosphere of negative energy, in some First Nations and Native American ceremonies, certain herbs are traditionally used to purify or bless people or places.  When certain herbs are burnt in a ritual or ceremony setting it is called "smudging".

Instructions

Light the smudge stick at the tip of the leaves, allow to burn for 10-15 seconds and gently blow on the embers to create smoke.  Slowly move among rooms, gently waving the stick in the air.  After use gently extinguish the smoke in sand or a small dish of water.  Store in a dry place for future use.

Take care while smudging and only use under adult supervision. Extra care should be taken around flammable materials.  Ensure the bundle is completely extinguished before leaving unattended.
