Activated charcoal: an unlikely ingredient for teeth skin and hair care that works! Detox and Beautify Your Skin and Hair with Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal is being used in cleanses to detoxify and re-energize; is it also the secret to healthy hair and skin? We think so! Whiten your teeth, cleanse impurities, or make a super-mask!
More and more people are finding themselves thrilled with the results of adding activated charcoal to their beauty routine. Activated charcoal is super absorbent, which makes it a super effective deep cleanser and detoxifier or stains, impurities and oil build-ups. It’s all-natural and won’t add synthetic chemicals and build up to your skin and hair when you use it. Which means less for your skin and hair to have negative reactions to and less risk of your pores being clogged with a new ingredient meant to clean.
How does activated charcoal work? This premium grade activated charcoal is derived from coconuts and is a highly purified-ultra fine black odorless and tasteless powder made from 100% coconut shell which has a very high number of micro pore and a very large surface area available for adsorption. Alcome Co. premium grade activated charcoal is treated by steam activation process at high temperature (more than 1,000 degree Celsius) with oxygen controlling and converted to a highly purified-ultra fine powder. It has been processed to meet the purification standards required for medical and food use. Due to its extremely high degree of micro porosity, the premium grade activated charcoal is a powerfully absorptive substance. Activated charcoal is a potent natural treatment used to trap toxins and chemicals in the body.
Here are the best ways to use Alcome Co. [Purify Me] Pack of pure activated charcoal for the health of your teeth, skin and hair.
Whiten Teeth and Remove Plaque -
To use Charcoal for your teeth, Dip a clean, wet toothbrush into the powdered charcoal. Lean over the container or charcoal and quickly put the charcoal covered toothbrush in the mouth (this is to protect your sink). Brush in small, gentle circles for 2 minutes, spit carefully and rinse really well. Your mouth will feel amazingly clean…. your sink, not so much! Use as often as needed. No substance removes acidic plaque from the teeth like Carbon. It will greatly clean your teeth and help to remove stains on the teeth (especially stains derived from drinking coffee). You will notice instantly whiter teeth after the first treatment. Charcoal is safe to use regularly.
Make a detoxing face mask -
Make pores smaller and cleaner; throughout the day, toxins from the world around us clog our pores. When your pores aren’t clear, neither is your complexion. Activated charcoal when used in a face mask binds to and helps pull the dirt out of your pores, making them less visible (it’s the oil and dirt that makes them appear bigger). This leaves your face feeling fresh. (Use it with an exfoliating scrub to get the dead skin off and experience an even deeper clean.)
Oily skin? Activated charcoal may be just the ingredient you need to balance things out. Used in a cleanser or mask, activated charcoal can pull the unwanted excess oils from your skin, leaving it smooth. You’ll want to do this sparingly once or twice per week at the most so that you don’t over-dry your skin. If you already have dry skin, best to steer clear of it for this use, as you don’t want to dry it out even more.
Reduce Acne and Improve Skin Health; you can use it as a spot treatment if you don’t want to use it on your whole face just think of it as a mini mask for your blemish.
To use activated charcoal on your skin, mix one a small amount of the powder into a teaspoon of one teaspoon of water. Mix these ingredients together until you have an even consistency. But be aware that this face mask is going to be black, and while it can stain your clothing and counter tops, it won’t stain your skin. Apply to your skin, let it dry (5 - 10 minutes, less for dry skin), and then rinse off. Do not leave on longer than directed as the product may be harder to remove.
Make a hair-mask to -
Pull out oil, dirt and toxins’ just like it does for your skin. Just add a teaspoon of activated charcoal to your regular shampoo and use as you normally would. Add volume to your hair; if you’re carrying around enough dirt, your hair will start to sag and regular shampooing may not be getting it all out. Regular shampoos remove surface dirt, but activated charcoal will pull out even more. The other difference, and this is big, is that activated charcoal isn’t going to leave the residue regular shampoos will, so your hair will feel lighter and have more volume.
Remedy scalp conditions; dandruff, redness, oily and itchy scalps may be relieved with activated charcoal. You can use it as a scalp treatment before you shampoo or can be mixed in with your shampoo. The activated charcoal will work on your scalp the way it does on your skin and hair: pulling out toxins and purifying. It’s unclear how deep into the hair follicle is being cleaned, but the results should be noticeable.
The charcoal is packed in a sealed bag for long-lasting freshness ( eco zip lock bag)
